Hart Dance Academy took several students to Kansas City's Heart of America studio to
the Manhattan Dance Project convention featuring ballet with Michael Vernon, jazz and
lyrical with Bill Hotaling, theatre with Josh Bergasse and hip-hop and tap with Todd

MDP is a dance convention that Hart has attended several times. We enjoy the instructors, styles and the
great at-home feeling. It is a comfortable, fun and challenging dance experience for dancers of all levels.
This convention is typically the first weekend in February. Please see Tracey about attendance.

Hart Dance Academy took several students to Kansas City's
Heart of America studio to the Manhattan Dance Project
convention featuring ballet with Michael Vernon, jazz, musical
theatre and lyrical with Bill Hotaling, hip-hop and tap with Todd
Shanks and Rockette-style with Leah Hotaling.
Dancers in attendance: Zoe Reinke, Ashlyn DuVall, Grace Whitmer,
Devyn Burroughs, Addie Knorr, Hailey Bunde, Kyra Hayes, Molly
Antonsen, Sydney Mickells, Tess Meyer, Abbey Spencer, Erica
Schott, Sidnee Lebsock and Emma Kate Wobig. Teachers were
Tracey Gabelman-Hart, Debbie Burroughs and Aly Hart Summerson.

HDA took 25 dancers to the MDP Convention in Lee's
Summitt this year!
