Welcome to Hart Dance Academy!
Fall 2020-2021 registration is now closed in our online portal, but you can still join classes if there is space! Please read
through our
Covid-19 safety page prior to enrollment. Please contact us with any questions.

    1. If you are new, please go to our new online portal system to create an account, using this link. Returning students, use your parent
portal log in and will find suggested classes highlighted in blue.

    2. View our full schedule on our website or in the parent portal for all class, camp and workshop options. (Placement questions? See
    below or contact us.)

    3. To enroll in classes, you must now email us. It is best if you've already created your portal account when you're ready to register!

    4. Pay the one-time registration fee of $25 per student or $40 per family, and the current tuition due to confirm your spots. You must have
an autopay account on file in order to sign up.

How do I know which level to register for?
For beginning dancers, look for a level that is designated with an age range. If your dancer falls within that range, they are probably a good fit
for the class. It is better to error on the side of a beginner being toward the older range than the younger. For instance, a beginning 6 year old
is recommended to start in our Combo 5-6 level rather than our Combo 6-8 level. We are happy to help with placement, just
email us! For
continuing dancers, it is best to
email us for help with level placement. If you prefer to enroll first, don't worry! Our staff reviews all
registrations and will contact you with any questions or issues.

How much does dance cost?
Our tuition rates are very competitive for the Lincoln market. Our short classes (anything 1 hour and under) are $90 per session,
and our long classes (anything over 1 hour) are $110 per session. We also offer Add On classes, meant to supplement a dancer's
class schedule, for only $65 (Acro, Leaps & Turns and Theatre Jazz). We have discounts for families taking 3 or more classes.
You can find due dates and other important dates
here. Also, check out our Google calendar.

How do I know if the studio is closed for special holidays or severe weather?
Our calendar follows LPS very closely, however to be sure of our closures for every specific holiday, please check our Calendar &
Polices page. We are OPEN on many days when just elementary schools are closed, so come dance! In the case of severe
if LPS is cancelled there will be NO dance. If the weather gets bad later in the day, it is best to check your email
and our
Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.

Is there a recital this year?
We hold our large, professional-quality recitals at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in dance years ending in even numbers. We
just had a fantastic and safe recital "Back to the Future" on July 30, 31 and August 1, 2020. In the non-recital years, we focus on
technique and do have some small performance opportunities through our Repertory groups and PAC shows, as well as host a fun
year end celebration party.

I am unsure what class to register my dancer for. What do I do?
Returning dancers should look for the BLUE highlighted classes in the portal. New students can email us with age, level and
experience. We are always available to help via email at or call 402.488.9444 and we are happy to help
find the perfect class(es) for your dancer!
